Newman Real Estate was founded in 1978 by Jim Newman, a lifelong Frisco resident whose relationships with local farmers and landowners helped shape the early phases of the city’s growth. What began as a small land brokerage rooted in community trust has evolved into a commercial advisory firm guiding some of the most strategic land and development decisions in Frisco.
Jim’s background in farming gave him an uncommon understanding of land — its value, its potential, and the responsibility that comes with helping families make generational decisions. As Frisco grew, Jim expanded the firm’s capabilities into zoning guidance, property tax consulting, and development advisory, helping landowners bring utilities, infrastructure, and vision to properties that now anchor many of the city’s most successful corridors.

Jim Newman, President/Broker
Jim Newman established Newman Real Estate in 1978, leveraging deep relationships with Frisco’s farming community to help landowners market, sell, and position their property during the city’s early growth. As both a broker and Property Tax Consultant, Jim guided families through zoning, development, and infrastructure planning, contributing to many of the thriving corridors seen in Frisco today.
Chad Brubaker
Chad oversees commercial brokerage and development advisory at NRE, specializing in land acquisition, financial modeling, and mixed-use strategy. He has supported multimillion-dollar transactions and provided analytical and zoning guidance for landowners across North Texas. Chad also serves as President of the Frisco Community Development Corporation, giving him valuable insight into the city’s growth, priorities, and development landscape.
