GUNS and HOSES Foundation of North Texas is a nonprofit 501(c)3 foundation primarily committed to providing support and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters and police officers, who have lost their lives performing their duty.
We also raise funds to benefit at-risk youth programs within our communities, and donate designated funds to additional children’s charities within the North Texas area.
GUNS and HOSES Foundation of North Texas was founded in 2002, and is proficiently managed by a 7-member Board of Directors who administer the organization and approve financial-support awards.
Hood County Sheriff Department Sgt. Lance McLean
The Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas has activated its Survivors Fund in response to the death of Hood County Sheriff Department Sgt. Lance McLean.
Sgt. McLean passed away around 11:45 a.m. Saturday from massive brain injuries suffered from a gunshot wound on Friday while responding to a call.
McLean was married and the father of two special needs children — one had autism and the other was confined to a wheelchair with severe disabilities. Both children were under 10 years old.
The Guns & Hoses Foundation is asking the North Texas community to come together and help us raise funds for the families of our fallen heroes. All donations to the Survivors Fund are dedicated to the dependents of law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.
