Wade Forum copy(Frisco, TX) The Wade Family, one of the patriarch families of Frisco, has just sold a major retail corner to a premier urban retail developer. The Wade Family has owned property in Frisco for over 100 years. This tract was originally purchased by John Kirby Wade, Sr. son of John Hickman Wade. Newman Real Estate and Development is excited to be a part of the development team for this 110-acre tract. The Newman and Wade families have worked closely together over the past 100 years in farming, selling and developing land in Frisco.

The Southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon Road will be transformed into one of the premier urban retail centers in North Texas. This mega urban retail development will be something Frisco residents will be proud to call their own. Wade Park will feature a unique blend that merges high-end retail shopping, fine dining, luxury hotels, commercial office space, entertainment and urban living.

The Wade Park project is planned to include approximately 600,000 square feet of high-end retail space with up to 3 million square feet of commercial office space. The development will also feature 1,200 multi-family residential units as well as 127 Charleston-style single-family homes with luxury amenities and elite concierge services.

“This new concept creates a central location that serves an unfulfilled need in Frisco, an urban retail center that serves as a hub for the city, providing a unique atmosphere that feels special. Wade Park will be the place to go when you have a special occasion to celebrate or to spend an afternoon discovering the latest trends from the runway, at stores that you currently have to drive twenty miles to NorthPark Center to find.” Jim Newman of Newman Real Estate explains.

The line-up of retail stores, restaurants, businesses, hotels and entertainment will be an attraction for the entire North Dallas area and beyond. Big things are happening in Frisco and Wade Park will serve as the capstone to the development that is taking place throughout the city.
